Ms. MEHAK GAUTAM

Ms. Mehak Gautam is a Research Analyst specializing in geopolitics and strategic affairs, with a focus on Africa, China, and the Indo-Pacific. She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Security Studies from Rashtriya Raksha University and a B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science from the University of Delhi. She also completed an intermediate Chinese language program at National Chengchi University, Taiwan, under the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship.

She previously worked as a Research Intern at the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), New Delhi, where she contributed to policy research on India–China engagements in Africa and broader foreign policy developments. She has authored a published book chapter and presented her research at national and international academic forums.

She is fluent in English and Hindi, with intermediate proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and working knowledge of Korean, supporting her cross-regional research and policy engagement.
